That’s Beth, one of Colin’s proud moms, celebrating how the team at T-1378 in Ocean, New Jersey, has welcomed him as one of their own. After completing a training program that helps prepare young adults with developmental disabilities for meaningful employment, Colin was thrilled to join Team Target.

In his 20-hour-a-week role, Colin begins each shift in the men’s department where he straightens, refolds and rehangs pants, shirts and more, and then continues on to additional apparel departments. In a short time, and with support from his team members, he has become relatively independent and looks forward to rocking his Target red each day.
“This has been a dream for all of us,” says Beth. “It is the best situation we could ask for. Thank you, Target!” And it’s another great example of how we care, grow and win together each day.
