Neuro-Inclusive Housing at Magnolia Oaks
Magnolia Oaks is New Jersey’s first neuro-inclusive neighborhood. The neighborhood is being developed by private developers; support services for homeowners with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are being developed by iStrive Community, Inc. Located on a former 12-acre estate in the heart of Middletown Township, NJ, the community offers convenient access to the Garden State Parkway, New York City commuter transportation, and nearby amenities – blending connection, comfort, and accessibility.
Magnolia Oaks Layout
The neighborhood will include eight thoughtfully designed single-family homes, with six for neurotypical homeowners and two purpose-built residences for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
Each IDD home features six private suites with individual bathrooms and living areas, along with shared kitchens, dining and living spaces, activity rooms, and laundry facilities. Designed with ADA-compliant, adaptive, and universal design elements – including elevators – Magnolia Oaks ensures a fully accessible, supportive environment where all residents can live with dignity, independence, and community.
